Why Your Relationship Needs A Break
Happy Valentine’s Day! This day of love should serve as a reminder that your relationship may just need a break.
No, not the heartbreak kind, rather, a vacation.
Research shows that couples who travel together have healthier, happier relationships compared to those who do not. A clear majority of travelers (86%) believe that the romance is still alive in their relationship, compared to 73% of respondents who do not travel together. Here’s what you need to know.
Opt for giving an experience over the box of chocolates. Nearly two-thirds (63%) of Americans rate a vacation or weekend getaway as important in sparking romance compared to small gifts (36%) and big gifts (15%).
Travel may improve things in your bedroom at home, too. Three-quarters (77%) of couples who travel together say that they have a good sex life, compared to 63% of couples who do not travel together.
Instead of taking a break, consider going on one. Roughly four in ten (38%) respondents say that the romance in their relationships is improved after the typical vacation.
Now, who's ready for their next vacation?
